TAHRY

Terms of Service

The agreement behind every day you share.

Some stories aren't created. They're lived. TAHRY is a place for your actual days: a good one, an ordinary one, a hard one. These terms protect that. By creating a TAHRY account, you agree to them.

Updated 19 October 2026

1Who can use TAHRY

You must be at least 13 years old to use TAHRY. We ask for your date of birth when you sign up and check it against this minimum before your account is created. It's never shown to anyone.

You may hold one account per person. Shared accounts, bot accounts, and accounts standing in for someone else aren't allowed.

2Your account

You create your account with your email address and a password, and confirm the email with a one-time code we send you. After that, you sign in with your email and password. You're responsible for what happens under your account, so keep your password, and access to your email, to yourself.

Names may contain letters, spaces, hyphens and apostrophes, with no numbers or symbols. Two people can share the same name, because people genuinely do. If yours is already in use, we'll tell you, and you can keep it or add to it.

3Be who you are, share what's real

This is the one rule everything else supports:

  • Use your real name and a real photo of yourself. TAHRY isn't built for anonymous, parody or impersonation accounts.
  • Post your actual day. A moment should be something that really happened to you. It shouldn't be staged, borrowed, or generated to look like a day you didn't have.
  • Be honest about the moment. Captions shouldn't mislead people about who you are or what you're doing.

We may remove content or suspend an account that breaks this rule. See section 13.

4What you post

A moment is one photo, or one video of up to 30 seconds, with an optional caption of up to 30 characters. Each time you post, you choose its audience:

  • Everyone: anyone on TAHRY.
  • Friends: only people you're friends with.

A moment appears in the live feed only on the day it was posted. After that day, it lives on in your profile as part of your history.

You own what you post. By posting, you give TAHRY a limited license to store your moment and show it to you and the audience you picked, and nothing more. We don't license your content to advertisers or anyone else. The license ends when you delete the moment or your account.

5How the feed works

TAHRY doesn't rank people by popularity. Reactions and comments are never used to decide who gets seen. The main feed, where everyone's moments appear, keeps each moment fresh through the part of the day it was shared in (morning, afternoon, evening or night), favours people near you, and gives everyone's first moment a fair first audience, so every moment gets a genuine chance, whether you have no friends on TAHRY or hundreds.

TAHRY also keeps track of which moments you've already seen, so it doesn't show them to you again. Nobody can ever see who has viewed their moment, or how many people have.

6Location, used quietly

At sign-up, and any time later in Settings, you tell TAHRY your country (picked from a list) and your city (typed by you). TAHRY never uses your GPS or reads your location from your device.

It's used for one thing: showing you more moments from people near you. Your city comes first, then your country, then your part of the world, then everywhere. It is never shown on your profile, your moments, your comments or anywhere else, to anyone, including your friends. Changing it only affects what you see from then on.

7Being findable

TAHRY is built for finding people, like an old classmate or a childhood friend. So anyone signed in to TAHRY can find you in Search by name and see your name, photo and the line you wrote about yourself. People you've blocked, and people who've blocked you, can't.

8Friends, reactions and comments

TAHRY has no followers. You connect as Friends: one person asks, the other accepts, and it's mutual.

You can react to a moment with one reaction at a time, and change or remove it. Reactions are never shown as a public count. You can comment on moments and reply to comments. Replies go one level deep.

You can delete your own comments and moments at any time. On your own moments, you can also delete comments other people left there.

9Your recap

Your past days live on in your profile as a monthly recap. It's a look back, not a second feed. In Settings, you choose who can browse it: Everyone, Friends or Only me.

10Rules of conduct

Beyond being yourself, you agree not to:

  • Harass, threaten or bully anyone, or encourage others to.
  • Post hate speech, or attack anyone for who they are.
  • Post sexual content involving minors, or anything else illegal.
  • Post other people's private information, or photos of them shared to hurt or embarrass them.
  • Try to reach someone who has blocked you, through another account or any other way.
  • Scrape, copy or redistribute other people's content or data from TAHRY.
  • Interfere with how TAHRY normally works, including by automating accounts or activity.

11Reporting and blocking

Any moment, comment or profile can be reported, and reports are reviewed. We never tell someone who reported them.

Blocking someone stops all visibility and interaction between your two accounts, in both directions, including in Search.

12Notifications

TAHRY can notify you about reactions, comments, replies, friend requests and friends sharing, plus a gentle daily check-in timed to your day. You can turn each type on or off in Settings, and clear your notifications whenever you like. Push delivery is handled by a third-party service, described in the Privacy Policy.

13Enforcement and appeal

Breaking these terms can lead to content being removed, a temporary suspension or a permanent ban, depending on how serious it is. If your account is suspended, you can always send an appeal explaining your side from within the app.

14Deleting your content or account

You can delete any of your moments or comments at any time. You can also permanently delete your whole account from Settings. This removes your profile, moments, comments and friendships, and can't be undone.

15No warranty, limited liability

TAHRY is an early, actively changing product, provided as it is. We don't promise it will always be available or free of errors.

To the extent the law allows, TAHRY isn't liable for indirect or consequential losses from your use of the app, or for what other people post. Nothing here limits rights the law doesn't allow to be limited.

16Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as TAHRY changes, and we'll update the date at the top when we do. For significant changes, we'll aim to tell you in the app. Continuing to use TAHRY after a change means you accept the updated terms.

17Governing law

TAHRY is an early-stage product and hasn't yet named a governing jurisdiction for these terms. This section will be updated once the operating entity is formally established.

18Contact

Questions about these terms can be sent through Contact & Help in the app. A dedicated email address will be listed here once it exists.
